Three Reasons Why You Should Move Right After Evening Rush Hour

Evening rush out in most states will encompass the five o'clock hour when many people are leaving work. If you are moving, you may need to move after work as a matter of efficiency. Even if you are available to pack and move for the entire day, it is a good idea to move a little bit after rush hour has cleared up. If you are moving from one place to another in the same city, prime moving time is a little bit after rush hour, and here is why.

People will have settled into their home

After people return home from work, this is prime time to get dinner started and settle in for the day. This means that most of your new neighbors will be inside of their homes or will be coming home for a relaxing evening. After rush hour, you will not have any trouble getting your large moving truck on the road. This can be important if you are using a local moving service with a truck and driving your own car over. You all will be able to properly follow each other on the road rather than having to weave in and out of traffic.

Neighbors will not be asleep

Right after rush out is a time when families are settling in for the night but are not yet asleep. Even young children will still be awake and will be working on homework or spending time with family and playing. This means that you and your movers will not be making noise when families are expecting total silence. If you are able to get the truck unloaded within a few hours, everything will be inside of your new home before all of your neighbors start to tuck themselves in.

The temperature is cooling down

Around the time evening, the traffic is settling down, families are settling down, and the sun is settling down as well. This means that you and your movers will be able to move when the temperature is a little bit lower. A lower temperature and a small breeze can mean the difference in everyone feeling dehydrated or everyone having plenty of pep in their step in order to get the job done. After rush hour as the sun is setting, moving heavy furniture and boxes will be easier and you won't have to worry about high temperatures. Moving after rush hour and into the night, you will be able to move in quiet and a cooler atmosphere.
